While I was in Alberta and BC, work moved ahead on the home front. Inside, the dry wallers made good progress, changing the inside appearance of the house.
Towards the kitchen from the living room area. The ‘mudders’ are working on the new drywall now. Only part of the staircase has been installed so far. We are looking forward to its completion.

Meanwhile, the covered deck has been added off the east side, with access from the dining room.
The covered deck on the right hand side. It remains to be seen whether or not the bug population forces us to screen it. Sheila thinks that we will need to do so as soon as possible. Ever the optimist, I hope that we won’t need to do that!
