Once again, apologies for the delay in postings. We are still waiting our own internet connection so post as we are able. (thankyou to Macdonald’s of Picton for today’s WiFi connection!)
On Sunday, Andrew, Ted and I arrived at Andrew & Colleen’s cottage in Prince Edward County. Our older son Jonathan was there to greet us, help us unload the car, truck and trailer and serve us a delicious supper. He and his family and his wife’s parents had spent the week at the cottage enjoying a Prince Edward County vacation. After the others left, Jonathan stayed behind to get the cottage ready and to welcome us.

The cottage is at the far end of our farmland and close to the water with wonderful views of Smith Bay. It is a solid little house, 3 bedrooms on the main and a full but unfinished basement. It seems to be perfect for Andrew and Colleen and family and we are grateful to be able to live in it until our house is completed.
The cottage is in an old growth hardwood forest with magnificent sugar maple, beech and oak trees.

On Wednesday, I drove Ted to the Toronto airport and picked up Sheila as she arrived from Abbotsford. We had done a few more touch ups to welcome her to our new home.
