Each spring and into summer we sell bees and queens. Our 4 frame honey bee nucleus colonies (nucs) are made according to Ontario nuc production standards and are ready starting in mid May through July. Our nucs contain local queens, 2 frames of brood and 1 frame of food plus a frame for growth. We are ministry inspected and have nuc and queen selling permits.
Nucs are $185 each or $160 for orders of 20 or more.
Our locally produced queens are bred for productivity, gentleness and disease resistance. Queens are $35 each for 1-4, 5 or more is $30.
